During the many years that we pursued our commitments as museum docents and educators internationally, we have always wanted to initiate an opportunity to stage active participation programs for those who love and appreciate art in all its diverse forms.
At last, the time and place came together and, on the first Saturday in October, our dream came true with the launch of art talks and discussion from Art Adventures LA.
Our stage is the magical Union Station – a truly unique historic Los Angeles landmark - which combines an eclectic mix of Art Deco, Mission Revival, Streamline Moderne and elements of Dutch Colonial architectural details. It resonates with the importance of how art informs one generation to the next.
In the hallowed and beloved environs of Union Station, Art Adventures LA will present programs through 2015 and 2016 - that embrace participants in the human need to create art, communicate through its complex language and explore the depth of the importance of art in history, culture and traditions.
Generally once a month, Art Adventures LA will bring you a unique program that will transport you a different realm - whether it be a new art form, philosophy, culture or a little of everything - from around the globe.
With subjects as diverse as the speakers who present them - we promise you that these series will take you beyond the classrooms, studios, and museums – into conversations that matter the most!
